Science Florida

Science in Motion
Science in Motion is designed to inspire students to excel in their study of science and introduce them to science careers. The program challenges students to become more aware of the interdependence of living things and their environment, develop an understanding of motions and forces, and gain an understanding of the evolution of technology and communication and how their ideas could influence the technology of tomorrow.

Epcot®: In Spaceship Earth and the Universe of Energy pavilions, students discover alternate sources of energy as they examine possible future space habitats. In The Living Seas and The Land pavilions, students focus on symbiosis, irrigation, hydroponics, photosynthesis, and the elements required for plant growth.

Kennedy Space Center: The Apollo missions come to life at the Saturn V Center where students learn about the political and technological forces that focused on putting a man on the moon.

Barrier Island Adventure: Students explore an island's ecosystem while snorkeling and netting.

Museum of Science and Industry: In the Challenger Learning Center, students become scientists and astronauts as they participate in a simulated space mission.

Sea World: Students compare the Polar Regions with other areas of our Earth as they experience the ecosystem of the Arctic.
